Our Beach House

Saturday, November 13, 2010

So, this is our beach house.

Well, maybe not ours, but I'm wishing it was.
It is perfect for a week away, and it is small, encouraging togetherness.
I love the bunk beds where the children would sleep, and the fireplace with the view of the ocean.

I'm already picturing having our breakfast out on the deck, watching the gray sea mist clear as the sun begins to shine over the horizon.

You can find more photos of this beach house at StudioMama.
StudioMama has other projects too, like this ultimate indoor playhouse...

Perhaps I'm in nesting overdrive....You may have noticed I have also changed the look of the blog.  I'm not sure yet if it will stay or go, but I'm liking it for now.
I've been very attracted to looking at inspirational spaces recently.  I'll leave you with some of my favorites from today....

These are very beautiful! I thought this was yours, though. ;] Anyway, I've always dreamed of living in a beach house too. And recently, I visited a friend's beach house, and I was super amazed! Ohh. I wish I can have my own too!
